This blended learning course requires prior knowledge of ACLS and may be better suited to students renewing their course completion card versus those taking the ACLS Course for the first time.
Prior to taking this course the following must be met:
- Purchase the on-line Heartcode ACLS course through the following site: HeartCode® ACLS | AHA
- Complete the on-line Heartcode ACLS course.
- Print your certificate of completion and bring it with you to the skills exam.
The ACLS Skills check is the final competency check following completion of the on-line Heartcode ACLS course. This skills check will verify your competence in:
- 1- and 2-Rescuer Adult BLS with AED
- Adult megacode scenario
Prior to testing you will have time to practice and/or speak with the instructor to ask questions. After practice, students must demonstrate competency without any assistance, hints or prompting.
Upon successful completion of the skills exam:
- You will be emailed an ACLS Provider Card
Payment Information
Payment in full is required at the time on initial registration to reserve a place in the class.
Cancellation and Refund Information
Cancellations must be requested by the student and submitted in writing.
If you are more than 10 minutes late without notification, you will need to reschedule.
There is a 10% fee charged on all class cancellations.
There is no refund for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the class start date.
There is no refund for opened course materials. There is a 10% restocking fee on returned books. Any unopened materials must be returned within 7 business days of cancellation to be eligible for a refund.
If Southern Region cancels the class a full refund will be issued (less any applicable course materials).
There are no fees incurred if the class is rescheduled for another date.
