CPR competency is critical to victim survival.

HeartCode Complete BLS is the AHA's BLS blended learning delivery method with a Voice-Assisted Manikin.  Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session with a voice-assisted manikin. 

The voice-assisted manikin, will walk you through practicing each skill, then test for skill competency. The voice-assisted manikin gives clear, direct, and instant feedback while performing skills.

This course should be completed within 6 months of course registration.

Steps for completing course:

  1. Register for the Heartcode Complete discipline of your choice, BLS, ACLS, or PALS on our website.
  2. You will receive an email in the next 2 business days with an invitation to complete the online portion of this course at your own pace.
  3. Once you have completed the online module, you will need to register for a Heartcode RQI Skills Session. You may call 907-562-6449 , email registration@sremsc.org, or register on our website.
  4. After your skills exam has been passed, you will receive access to your Provider certification through your Heartcode Complete account. If you require CME, this is also the time to request CME.

 

Students must successfully pass these skills tests by being evaluated in each role:

  • 1- and 2-Rescuer Adult BLS with AED
  • 1- and 2-Rescuer Infant BLS 

 Upon successful completion of the skills exam:

  • You will have access to your BLS Provider certificate through your Heartcode Complete account.

 

Payment Information

Payment in full is required at the time on initial registration to reserve a place in the class.

 

Cancellation and Refund Information 

Cancellations must be requested by the student and submitted in writing. 

If you are more than 10 minutes late without notification, you will need to reschedule.

There is a 10% fee charged on all class cancellations.

If cancelled before license is issued, there will be a 10% cancellation fee, if license has been issued no refund will be issued.

If Southern Region cancels the class a full refund will be issued (less any applicable course materials). 

There are no fees incurred if the class is rescheduled for another date.

Payment in full is required at the time of initial registration to reserve a place in the class.

Southern Region EMS Council reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is less than the course minimum. A full refund will be issued less the cost of any opened course books.

There is a 10% fee on all cancellations. There is no refund for registrations cancelled within 7 days of class start date.

To receive a refund on UNOPENED course books they must be returned within 7 business days from cancellation.

If cancelled before Heartcode Complete license is issued, there will be a 10% cancellation fee. If Heartcode Complete license has been issued no refund will be given.

All cancellation requests must be in writing from the student enrolled in the course and submitted to registration@sremsc.org with a subject title of "STUDENT CANCELLATION".
